What is there not to love about Italian culture! If you haven't discovered for yourself yet, there's still time to check out the Italian Film Festival. But it finishes tonight so you'd better hurry. Yesterday I managed to catch the charming Centochiodi (One Hundred Nails) , which screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival as a tribute to director Ermanno Olmi, who won the Palme d'Or in 1978 for his film The Tree With The Wooden Clogs. It follows a university professor's retreat to a small and quirky regional town. Oh, and there is an unofficial soundtrack CD to the festival, which I definitely am going to get hold of - Fever Italia.
