For those of you who live in Australia you surely know what I'm talking about. Darrell Lea liquorice is delicious and always so incredibly fresh. For those of you who don't live on our island continent then check your local deli or gourmet food store because I remember seeing it for sale on Newbury Street in Boston about this time last year. And let me confess, I've eaten lengths of the stuff when it's still warm just off the production line. Now that's a treat!

Don't trust the recent u.k import- they've changed the receipe to make it last longer and its just not the same :-(
